Thank you for your question. We offer three options. We stock both new back ends and previously re threaded back ends so we can service your handpiece the day it is received. If you wish to have your own back end re-threaded, it does take a few days to run it through the machine shop. We highly recommend having the entire motor serviced with the re-thread since it needs to be dis-assembled anyway. The total cost would be $199 with a 1 year warranty. Re-thread only is $99.00.
